Climate Change Action Plans Highly Commended at IPI Awards

We are delighted to announce that the Dublin Local Authorities’ Climate Change Action Plans were highly commended at the Irish Planning Awards 2020, in the Climate Change category.

The Irish Planning Awards aim to highlight innovation and excellence in Irish planning. The Awards acknowledge the diverse range of plans and projects on a national and international basis taking place in complex and dynamic planning environments.

The Climate Change category recognises that climate change is the greatest challenge facing the current generation and there is greater awareness now of the necessity to link planning and climate change if it is to be effectively addressed.

The standard of entries this year was exceptionally high, so it is a great honour for the four Councils’ plans to be recognised.
