Buzzfest is 2-day, fun-based, family event, for people in Dublin 7 who want to make this the most sustainable and climate friendly northside neighbourhood to live in. The festival is held in the gardens of St. Peter’s Church on Saturday & Sunday 14th & 15th September, and celebrates biodiversity, climate and circular economy actions that are happening in Phibsboro and beyond.
In 2017, Phibsboro Village Tidy Towns placed a beehive in the gardens of St Peter’s Church reviving an ancient Irish tradition, ‘the Blessing of the Bees’. This led to the first Buzzfest.
Building on the success of the festival over the past 7 years, we have a bigger and better programme of events this year.
On Saturday, we have over 20 stalls, where you can views moths, plant wildflowers, learn about rainwater planters, check energy improvements you can make, use our repair café, swap books, learn how to make felted soaps, buy local honey, talk to the local canal and history experts, and so much more.
No registration necessary for Saturday events. For more information on the event programme for both days, please visit www.phibsborovillage.com
