Introduction

Introduction

The Dublin Local Authorities (DLAs) and the Office of Public Works (OPW) are working together to adapt the areas of Dublin that are vulnerable to flooding.

For example, the DLAs are building flood defences that take into consideration the current and future risks of climate change. Some of these measures include natural solutions that have multiple benefits beyond flood defence, such as providing new spaces for recreation and habitats for flora and fauna.

Submissions

The public consultation process ran from 11th February - 25th March 2019, during which time members of the public had their say on the Climate Change Action Plans.
